As part of our imaging services, we provide clipping paths - which is a hard-edged vector masking technique that encircles some desired areas and hides unwanted image elements - when appropriate or directed by the customer.

Each masking job is unique and requires a different method of creation and refinement. Clipping Paths are a lot like Vector Masks except that they apply to an entire document rather than a layer or layer group. Clipping paths are used to isolate uniquely shaped objects. Clipping paths are typically used to hide the background of an image or may be used to transform an image into any shapes, making the masked portions transparent or to any color background. Clipping paths can be created in graphics programs then exported with an image as an embedded path or alpha channel or they can be drawn directly in some page layout applications.
